At Statement Co., we believe business thrives when it mirrors the resilience, adaptability, and interconnectedness of living ecosystems. This session invites you to step away from your screen and into a intentional space of shared learning, restorative rest, and community building.
We are honored to be guided by Teri Lysak, Director of Cascadia Wild. Teri brings over 20 years of experience in forestry, science education, and tracking to help us explore natural ecosystems through a vital question: What if our organizations were truly biological—interconnected, symbiotic, and guided by natural intelligence?
The Morning:
9:00 AM: Arrival, check-in, and settling in
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Guided Session with Teri Lysak: Wildlife Tracking, Bird Language, and Plant Identification
11:30 AM: Shared Picnic & Open Connection

Gathering Size: To ensure a grounded, high-impact experience where everyone can participate meaningfully, capacity is intentionally limited to 12 guests.
Land Acknowledgment: We will gather at Oxbow Regional Park, which rests on the ancestral and traditional homelands of the Clackamas, Multnomah, and Kathlamet bands of the Chinook Nation. We honor their enduring connection to these lands and waters. Exact meeting coordinates will be provided upon registration.
Accessibility & Terrain: Our session will involve light walking along established, unpaved forest trails at a relaxed pace. We welcome participants of all movement styles and physical abilities—please feel free to engage at whatever level feels most comfortable for your body.
Transportation & Parking: Oxbow Regional Park requires a $5/day vehicle permit (payable by cash or online). If you need assistance with transportation or would like to join a community carpool, please let us know in your RSVP.
Nourishment: Please bring a lunch that suits your personal nourishment and dietary needs for our post-class picnic.

Weather & Attire: We will gather rain or shine. We encourage layers, comfortable walking shoes, rain gear, sunscreen, and a picnic blanket or camp chair.
