We don’t invite just anyone to join the Statement Co.llab. This is a highly talented network of trusted professionals who we feel confident recommending for projects. We look for versatile collaborators who align with our values to partner on cool client work.

STEP ONE

Initiate Interest in Collaborating

  • Join our Statement Co.mmunity Google Group, which is comprised of consultants who may be independent but don’t want to be alone on that adventure. Joining unlocks access to the following Google Form, Mini Case Study, and NDA.

  • Let us know you’re interested in the Statement Co.llab by filling out this Google Form and emailing hello@statementco.io.

STEP TWO

Complete the Vetting Process

Congrats, you’re in!

Once you’ve been vetted and signed our NDA, you’re officially in the Co.llab. You will be invited to the private Statement Co.llab Google Group, which will unlock the next steps to maximize your membership for visibility and access to projects.

STEP THREE

Onboard into the Statement Co.llab

  • Once we get through vetting, we’ll add you to a Statement Co.llab Google Group, which will give you access to a Pipeline Call, Co.llab email updates, and Shared Drive where we house templates and resources for Co.llab members.

  • Our confidential onboarding deck shares more about who we are, the Co.llab, policies, and best practices.

  • We display our Statement Co.llab members on our website About page at statementco.io/about#collab. This showcases our talent to clients and provide cross-marketing for consultants.

  • We often leverage consultant bios for client proposals and engagement kickoffs. We ask that Statement Co.llab members add their consultant bio to this Google Doc for future reference.

STEP FOUR

Get Staffed on Projects With Clients

  • As work comes up that might be a fit, we’ll give you a shout so that you can share your availability, interest, and weigh in on the proposal for clarity, confidence, estimated hours, etc.

  • Once we’ve identified, sold, and won a body of work to collaborate on together, we’ll invite you to sign a Subk Agreement, which governs the overarching nature of our business relationship, and Subk SOW, which defines the specific client project delivery.

STEP FIVE

Grow the Statement Co. Impact

  • We encourage to Statement Co.llab members to add Statement Co. to their Experiences or Organizations on Statement Co. to build credibility around the strength of our talent with clients. You can even use one of our branded LinkedIn Banners.

  • We encourage everyone to show up looking like on team on client meetings. One small way to do this is with a Statement Co. branded meeting background.

  • To be featured on our LinkedIn and newsletter, we ask that you fill out this 10-minute form.

  • We encourage all of our Statement Co.llab members to write blogs that can be cross-posted on Statement Co. and consultant channels to demonstrate our thought leadership. We also encourage everyone to follow, like, share, and forward our social media and newsletter content.

  • We have three ways we give back to consultants bringing in business. 1) We provide cash incentives for any email introduction that results in paid client work. 2) We offer a reduced margin for a greater take home on projects that are brought into Statement Co. 3) We offer commission to any consultant who wishes to play a more involved client partner role. If you have a lead or an introduction you’d like to make, discuss it with our Client Partnerships Director.

  • The Statement Co.mmunity is a network of independent consultants who want to build relationships, discuss trends, and learn from each other. While we may be independent, we don’t need to be alone! Whereas, the Statement Co.llab is a group of trusted collaborators on the lookout for projects to deliver together for clients. In these forums we talk about client work and opportunities under an NDA.

  • Going through the vetting process and signing an NDA gets you access to potential projects, insights into actual client work, an invite to our pipeline calls, a view inside our business, and cross-marketing on our channels as an in-network consultant.

  • The management consultant roles in the Co.llab span project management, program management, product management, change management, marketing, communications, design, engineering, technology, executive coaching, leadership, and more to deliver on Statement Co. services.

  • We look mid- and senior-level management consultants for contract, remote roles. Management consultants work closely with clients to understand the challenges, assess the opportunities, define meaningful solutions, develop actionable plans, and facilitate sustainable change.

    Qualifications include:

    • Proven 5+ years of experience in industry, consulting, agency, or freelancing

    • Strong analytical, strategy, and planning skills to drive results in ambiguity

    • Ability to proactively identify issues and propose solutions before problems arise

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills adaptable to audiences

    • Ability to craft compelling narratives and stories applied to diverse business contexts

    • Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, nimble, and responsive in fast-paced environments

    • Results oriented focused on measurable, impactful outcomes

    • Ability to build strong, trusted, advisor relationships with clients

    • Ability to work independently and remotely, delivering onsite as needed

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Technology, or a related field

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian Suite, Miro, Slack, and Zoom

    • Strong network references validating your work outputs and collaboration style
