Join Statement Co.nnections
Join Statement Co.nnections—a network for independent consultants seeking peer community, shared insight, and strategic alignment on the entrepreneurial journey. In Statement Co.nnections Google Group, you’ll receive invitations to public events and preview access to our Master Collaboration Agreement (MCA). Please note: This social community group operates separately from active client engagements and does not share proprietary project details.
STEP ONE
Meet Co.llab Requirements

Members must demonstrate active alignment with Statement Co.’s core Values and formally adhere to our Code of Conduct.

All consultant services, advisory frameworks, and client deliverables must directly align with Statement Co.’s core enterprise offerings as advertised on the website.

Consultants must demonstrate 7–10+ years of direct, full-time experience working within enterprise-level organizations, mid-market commercial companies, or established corporate consulting firms prior to launching an independent practice.

All coaching-focused members must hold an active ICF certification (ACC, PCC, or MCC) or an accredited institutional coaching certification (e.g., Hudson Institute, Co-Active CPCC).

Members must operate as an active LLC or Corporation registered and insured in good standing.

Members must hold an accredited, relevant college degree applicable to their consulting domain.

Members must provide two professional client references or executive recommendations upon request to validate delivery excellence, business impact, and professional conduct.
STEP TWO
Review & Align On Agreements
Once vetted, you’ll be invited to review our Master Collaboration Agreement (MCA). If aligned, please share your business name and ask us to route a Google eSignature.

Onboard Into the Co.llab

Once we get through vetting, we’ll add you to a Statement Co.llab Google Group, which will give you access to a email updates, a shared drive, and meetings Co.llab members.

We often leverage consultant bios or business one-pagers for client proposals and engagement kickoffs. We ask that Statement Co.llab members add their consultant bio to this Google Doc for future reference.

As work comes up that might be a fit, we’ll give you a shout so that you can share your availability, interest, and weigh in on the proposal for clarity, confidence, estimated hours, etc.

Once we’ve identified, sold, and won a body of work to collaborate on together, we’ll invite you to sign a Consulting Services Agreement (CSA), which governs the overarching nature of our business relationship, and Subk Statement of Work (SOW), which defines the specific client project delivery.

Grow Our Collective Impact

Email hello@statementco.io with your raw answers to the following questions: What can you be found doing outside of work? What is your "entrance song" that you want to accompany you into every meeting? What's the most "you" thing you've ever done? What is something that no one would expect from you and you're really good at? Please share a quality image of you that gives insight into your life beyond the resume (e.g., hobbies, pets, family).

While we may be independent, we don’t need to be alone! Whereas, the Statement Co.llab is a group of trusted collaborators on the lookout for projects to deliver together for clients. In these forums we talk about client work and opportunities under an NDA.

Going through the vetting process and signing an NDA gets you access to potential projects, insights into actual client work, an invite to our pipeline calls, a view inside our business, and cross-marketing on our channels as an in-network consultant.

The management consultant roles in the Co.llab span project management, program management, product management, change management, marketing, communications, design, engineering, technology, executive coaching, leadership, and more to deliver on Statement Co. services.

We look for mid- and senior-level management consultants for contract, remote roles. Management consultants work closely with clients to understand the challenges, assess the opportunities, define meaningful solutions, develop actionable plans, and facilitate sustainable change.
Qualifications include:

7–10+ years of direct, full-time experience in enterprise-level organizations, mid-market commercial companies, or established corporate consulting firms prior to launching an independent practice.
For coaching-focused members, an active ICF certification (ACC, PCC, or MCC) or an accredited institutional coaching certification (e.g., Hudson Institute, Co-Active CPCC); for other practice areas, relevant certifications and credentials for the services offered.
An independent business structure (active LLC or Corporation) that's insured and in good standing.
An accredited college degree relevant to your consulting domain.
Two professional client references or executive recommendations, provided upon request, that validate delivery excellence, business impact, and professional conduct.
Beyond these baseline qualifications, we also look for strong analytical and strategic thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse business contexts, adaptability in fast-paced environments, a results-oriented approach, strong client relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently and remotely, delivering onsite as needed.

We determine rates together based on your goals as well as the client, project, and market conditions. Statement Co. takes a margin to account for the sales and management of each engagement. Payment timelines are dictated by our contracts. In short — you get paid when Statement Co. gets paid.

We ask that you keep what’s confidential about our business and clients confidential as well as respect any introductions to projects that we make. Generally speaking though you are free to work with any client in any sector at any time so long as you’re able to fulfill on the Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA), Subk Agreement, and Subk Statement of Work (SOW). These can be reviewed and redlined in advance by joining the Statement Co.mmunity and Co.llab.

Some of our Master Services Agreements (MSA) with clients dictate certain levels of insurance that Statement Co. needs to carry. These requirements are often passed through to our subcontractors in the Subk Agreement. It’s generally recommended to carry Commercial General Liability Insurance at a minimum.

There are tons out there! We recommend Toptal, 6453 Forward, Business Talent Group, Catalant, and Umbrex / Veritux to name a few.

You’ll need to join the Statement Co.nnections Google Group to access the document for review.

Yes, you can request redlines on all of our agreements. We do our best to create consistency across all consultant agreements; however, we are open to changes that improve the documents for the entire community.

When you’re ready to sign, notify us at hello@statementco.io and we’ll route it for signature via Google eSignature. You’ll receive an email prompting you to open and sign the document digitally. Please do not edit the template, make a copy, key type a signature, or print and wet ink sign it.

We manage access to files through Google Groups. Once you’ve been added to the Statement Co.mmunity, you’ll gain access to the NDA. Once you’ve been accepted into the Statement Co.llab and added to that Google Group, you’ll be able to access the subsequent links like Onboarding. We do not add individuals to individual documents in advance of acceptance into one of these groups.
