A top-tier professional services firm, aggressively pursuing ambitious, rapid growth targets, recognized a critical need to rigorously evaluate employee engagement among its executive leaders. The goal was to identify concrete, high-impact strategies to immediately and significantly elevate the overall experience, satisfaction, and retention of its most seasoned, high-value talent.

The Opportunity

Statement Co. had a high-stakes opportunity to provide the necessary clarity and strategic direction by diagnosing the root causes of executive-level dissatisfaction and designing a bespoke, actionable plan to align leadership culture and operational process with the firm's accelerated growth objectives.

What We Delivered

In an intensive 12-week fractional leadership engagement, we executed a comprehensive assessment, strategic design, and detailed implementation plan to establish a productive, future-proof path forward for the firm’s top leaders:

  • Conducted a Deep Current State Assessment: We performed a meticulous review of all current charters, complex role descriptions, and organizational materials to capture existing expectations. Crucially, we conducted candid, confidential interviews with 16 executive leaders to gather unvarnished insights on the firm's leadership culture and day-to-day executive experience.

  • Facilitated Workshops for Strategic Prioritization: We designed an initial, comprehensive strategy to address identified gaps in culture, leadership cohesion, and operational process. We then invited leaders into a strategic session where we presented the assessment findings and gathered direct, high-value input on the impact vs. effort of the proposed solutions.

  • Designed a Detailed Implementation Roadmap: We created an updated, refined strategy and plan that was explicitly mapped back to the enterprise's overarching growth strategy. This included outlining precise project charters for each prioritized workstream, developing a robust change adoption plan, and drafting a clear roadmap for immediate activation.

  • Gathered Feedback & Provided Targeted Coaching: We conducted individualized 1:1 sessions with each leader to gather private feedback, address any gaps in our strategic approach, and provide high-value executive coaching on navigating complex workplace challenges with enhanced psychological safety, deeper connection, and improved communication.

At the onset of the engagement, leaders were acutely aware of the systemic challenges but felt entirely paralyzed on where to begin or how to effectively respond. Our delivery provided a shared language around the team’s complex challenges, which instantly helped leaders feel seen, heard, and genuinely recognized.
